Brewed using the 20L Braumeister. This beer should be brewed and fermented on the Toombstone - Banana Wheat recipe yeast cake which in turn saves money on yeast.
A beer for my son Arthur (lala).

This is a fabulous fruit wheat beer, make your brew day even better by using the original yeast cake from my Toombstone wheat beer recipe to save some money (they are the same recipe after all). This is a very tarty fruit beer, please allow at least 2 weeks after transfer from secondary to keg to mellow before tasting. This beer suits a high carbonation level, comes over very clean, refreshing with a hint of wheat but the best bit is the raspberry aroma & flavour. No bitterness & only a hint of hops.
robjamfea • 06/08/2018 at 02:23pm did you wrap the 3kg of raspberries in cheesecloth before adding to the beer?
Toombstone • 06/09/2018 at 03:25pm Robjamfea I used frozen raspberries in secondary & transferred the beer onto it. Hope you give this a go.
