Notes for change: 1) Steep chocolate, roasted barley, carapils, midnight instead of mashing. 2) add honey and lactose with cherry juice
Maybe, depending on taste: 1) replace some dark DME with wheat.
Cherry flavor comes out more with time. Very nice at 5 months after kegging.
Used yeast cake from previous beer.

Roasty, yet very chocolatey. Cherry flavor underlies, stronger with time. Very delicious sipper!
May adjust to reduce roasty flavor and increase sweetness.
