Notes

This beer is a nonconformist- malted like an American lager, hopped like a Belgian devil beer, and fermented with North American ale yeast.

Bring extracts to boil in 2 gallons of water. Boil for 50 minutes, adding 1 oz. hops at 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 minutes. Cool wort to 72°F or cooler, add to fermentor and add cold water up to 5 gallons, then pitch yeast.

Ferment at 66 - 68°F for 2 weeks. Prime with corn sugar. This beer is best when its aged for 6 weeks after bottling.
