Target Water Profile
RO Water plus 3 gallons of high bicarbonate town water to the boil
Notes
Made starter from wort (mid way through the sparge) 16hr on stir plate while the no chill cooled.
Efficiency of new brew setup is much higher than expected making my planned OG pre boil. so i boiled anyway with no water addition to see what happened. Hit 1.062-63. so ABV will be over the top for the style ;)
Flavour is fantastic. More like a Wiezenbock but with an orange juicy punch. super refreching and smooth. Kept fermentation at 18c and after kegging and putting on gas @ 24psi for 5 day all the peaks of banana, clove and bubble gum smoothed out to a great blend with no off flavors or over bearing tones this yeast can produce.
Extremely pleased and will brew again!
