Notes
This beer is blend of an imperial stout and a porter-ish beer brewed by the parti-gyle brewing method.
For the second runnings batch we also steeped .75lbs Crystal 60 to add to the boil. That beer got 1 oz magnum at 60 and .5 oz EKG at 10 mins.
OG Imperial stout: 1.100
OH Second Runnings: 1.056
Added 1 oz coffee beans to secondary of Hairy Freak
THIS BEER WAS AWARDED 3RD PLACE IN CATEGORY 30A (SPICED BEER) AT THE 2017 FIRST COAST CUP IN JACKSONVILLE FLORIDA.
