Notes
Steep grains at 160F for about 20 minutes. let it rest for 10. Remove grains and begin heating again. Add DME slowly into boil. Spread it out over the sixty minutes. Last bit should go in around 15 minutes left. Follow Hop schedule.
After fermentation ends rack to secondary (~ 2 weeks) and there place 5 lbs of chopped strawberries in secondary and rack beer over the top ... let sit for two weeks.
This is about fruit not hops so keep the IBUs under 40.
I aimed the SRM below a typical common ... the color should be from the fruit.
Brewed 05/28/2017 ... racked to 5 lbs of Strawberries 07/01/2017 bottled 07/15/2017
