Started w/ a thick mash for protein rest (proteolytic enzymes more active) then added 1 gallon during ramp to 148.

Carafa III added immediately before sparge to adjust color.

1.5L starter using a heaping cup of DME for 1.040 starter gravity.

2nd out of 27 entries in its category in the 2017 Indiana Brewers Cup. It beat out my American Lager in the same category by one place. The American Lager had won Silver at NHC Finals a few weeks earlier.
