Notes
Partly inspired by Northern Alchemy's Marmalade & Assam Tea IPA.
We have wanted to brew a traditional IPA (high ABV, high IBU) for some time but quite fancy putting something different in the mix. While we're using Curacao and Assam this is not strictly a clone. We have no recipe to copy and really we just want a little flavour from the orange/tea coming through.
We are going to stick to the same hop varieties from Brexhibition. Mostly Goldings with several other UK hops.
The malt list has been amended as we wanted a darker red colour and more malty notes to go alongside the tea.
