A clone of the first beer ever brewed in the White House - Thanks Obama
Clean and crisp with a good balance of hops and malt, and just enough honey to let you know its there.
I will probably lighten it up next time by using Crystal 40 in lieu of 80 and drop the ABV a point to make a little more sessionable.
Needs a full 3 weeks to finish and I recommend a blow-off line in lieu of an airlock as the honey makes for a very aggressive fermentation and a huge krausen. This was actively fermenting for a full 7 days.
