Yeast Dated Nov 9th
12/09 - 7:30pm: Started yeast starter 5.4oz light DME and 1600ML water
12/11: Brew Day
Started 4 gallons water to 160 degrees. Pre-heat mash tun with boiling water. Added strike water and grains only went to 147 degreed.
Added 10 cups boiling water to raise to 150 degrees. Hold for 60 minutes.
Took 30 minutes to drain 7.5 gallons into boil kettler.
Going to boil extra 20 minutes to reduce. Pre boil Brix 11.0
Added hops according to schedule. Forgot Zero hops and added when cold. Clogged valve. Final Brix: 15.0 SG+1.061
12/18: transfered to secondary corny keg SG 1.015 ABV 6.04%
