Notes
Split batch with 5 gal notty and 5 gal wyeast 3522
3522 DH with Citra and Amarillo
Nottingham DH with Cascade and Waimea
Mashed for 60 min with 15 min Mash out to 170. Sparged with 170 degree water. Boiled for 75 minutes. Didn't start to roll until 30 minutes. Aroma hops steeped for 2 hrs. Racked and left to cool overnight. SG 1.067.
11/14 Pitched Notty starter and Belgian WY 3522 Ardennes smack pack. Notty took off like gangbusters and 3522 showed AL activity in 12 hours.
Notty sampled 11/23 1.014 = 6.9%
3522 Sampled 11/23 1.012 = 7.22%
