Notes
-In a small pot bring exactly 2qts of water to exactly 160 degrees
-Remove from heat and stir in specialty grains, cover and steel for 45min
-Fill large brew pot half full with water and heat.
-When bubbles start to rise from large pot remove from heat and stir in extract. Return to heat.
- Pour grains through strainer into brewpot. Sparge with hot water from brewpot.
-Bring to a boil.
-Once foaming stops add first hops
-Add whirfloc at 15min
-Add second hops when removing from heat at 0min
-Cool wort in sink until cool to the touch.
-Pour wort into fermenter through strainer. Add cold water to bring to 2.5gallons.
-Pitch 3 yeast packets
