Nice malty flavour, but still balanced towards hoppy. Full bodied considering the gravity.
I know Hersbrucker is a bit odd in a bitter.. I was planning to use Fuggles, but when I took the bag of Fuggles out of the freezer on brew day the Fuggles seemed stale, so I used Hersbrucker instead.
