Target Water Profile
Light colored and hoppy
Notes
Brew number 1 10-45-19
Mash water temp 76.5 to reach 68
I added 10 gms of citric acid only to mash water
I ended up with 1052 gravity for 2 large batches (boiler filled to the rim)
Sparge very slow the next time.
NEXT BREWING NOTES:
I suggest to drop the efficiency to 60% and adjust all the bill accordingly, as 70% is unrealistic.
Brew 2 16.8.19
Fill up the kettle to the border. 10 gms of citric acid.
Heat at 74, it was short. Heat 76C next time
Pre-boil gravity: 1054
Fermenter gravity: 1061
Final gravity 1011
