Notes
Mix grain with 4.5 gallons of 162 strike water to reach a mash temp of 150. Hold for 60 minutes. Vorlauf until runningas are clear. Sparge the grain with enough water to collect 6.5 gallons. Boil for 60 minutes, adding hops. After the boil add 0 minute hops & whirlpool in the kettle. Let stand for 20 minutes, the chill to slightly below fermentation temp, about65. Ferment at 67 for 7 days. Add dry hops & raise temp to 72 for 5 more days. Once terminal gravity is reached, cold crash to 35 for 48 hours, then rack to a keg. Target is 2.5 volumes.
