Hit OG 1.060. FG is 1.010
Pitched 2 x 5 gallon batches attempting with 2 different yeast
v1.0 = WLP001 California Ale
v2.0 = WLP029 Kolsch
------------------------------
Will add flavor profile after carbonation
v1.0 WLP001
This beer had a pronounced clean yet malty flavor. It was slightly more bitter than the Kolsch yeast batch. I personally liked the flavor of this beer better than the Kolsch.
V2.0 WLP029
This beer is decidedly Belgian tasting. It's a very very good Alt. This version is a sweeter version with the malt being more pronounced. To me, this wasn't the flavor profile I was going for in my Alt, nonetheless a great beer.
Both Beers were ABV 6.56%
