How did it turn out? Wish there were more notes. Grilled sounds interesting.

The pineapple was grilled on the stovetop for 2 reasons. 1) sterilization 2) to hopefully denature an enzyme in pineapple that supposedly kills head retention. The beer was quite tasty, head was ok but not great. Pineapple character was low or maybe hidden by the mixed fermentation with saison/brett yeast. I would recommend trying it with only the clean california ale yeast or similer
