Notes
- Boil water to 170F deg. Turn off heat add all grains and steep for 30 minutes. Remove grains. I use a grain bag.
- Return wort to a boil and add 6 lbs of liquid malt extract, 1# dry malt extract and 1oz of hops. Stir till dissolved. Boil for 60 mins. Add .5 tsp Irish moss in the last 10 mins of boil.
- Turn off heat and add honey and 1oz of hops, cover let steep for 15 mins.
- Cool and strain into a fermentor, add enough water to equal 5 gals. Add yeast. Ferment for 21 days total.
- Add 1oz Saaz Hops after 14 days of fermentation. Leave in for seven days.
