Brewed 11/23/15. I doubled the grain, but forgot tho double the hops so I added two ounces of 40 min. boiled hop water into the fermenter for bittering before active fermentation. I feel that that hop profile changed the intended malt/hop play. It came out good, but a little more bitter than anticipated. Fermented at a steady 63-68 degree space.

Taste notes: Chocolate, coffee, nose. Good body and head. Molasses and chocolate notes were present in the flavor. Bitterness came out at the tail end of gulp. Overall not bad; didn't know what to expect with that rogue move! It is also an over all different beer because of it..... still give it 4. Will try this again next winter.
