Notes
1.Steep grains in 1.55 gallon of water @ 155 degF for 30 min.
- Bring water up to 3 gallons and to rolling boil. Add DME, 1st LME, and bittering hops for 60 min.
- At 15 min add maltodextrin, whirlfloc tablet, yeast nutrient and wort chiller.
- At 10 min add hop addition 2.
- At 5 min add hop addition 3 and 2nd LME.
- Cool wort to pitching temp. of 65 degF, add remaining water to 5.5 gallons, and pitch yeast.
- Primary ferment for 5-7 days then transfer to secondary for 5-7 days.
- Bottle carbonate/condition for 4-6 weeks.
