Black Hart Brewery, USA • 08/07/2016 at 05:23pm How long did you age this before it was ready?
bisandcan • 12/27/2016 at 02:48pm Sorry for the late comment, it took about 6 months before I drank it
DaverAZ • 09/03/2019 at 03:37pm Brewed this beer this weekend. SG into boil was a solid 1.071 @ 6.75 Gallons. Rolling boil for 60 minutes came down to around 5.75 gallons, and went into Fermenter as, a 1.081. Also added 16 oz of pure unsweetened cocoa powder last 15 min of boil based on tips on the Chocolate stout recipe listed on the site. Any suggestions on why I can't get 1.095. If I had boiled to 4.5 gallons, I suppose I could have gotten there, but has anyone else had this problem?
