Sounds like a good beer. What's with the .6 lb of pilsner malt though? Why not just up the base malt?

I wanted to bring it up from 5.5 gallons to 6 gallons and I didn't have any more Maris Otter, so I substituted a small amount of German Pils to keep the OG the same. Such a small amount wouldn't make much of a difference. If I had more Maris Otter, I would have used that. Every time I brew this beer it changes to match the available ingredients. The whirlpool is closer to 165F, but I put 170F in the calculator as my target.
