Notes

Steep crushed malts in 3 quarts of 170°F water for 45 min. Drain and rinse with an additional 3 quarts of 170°F water. Add 5 gallons of water to pot and bring to a boil. Shut off boil and add extract. Boil for 60 minutes and chill.
