Mix up a tincture of vanilla and rum for secondary.
Research making a banana "slurry" and then freezing? Not sure why this is done.
Secondary addition of banana is going to restart fermentation big time, lots of sugar in bananas. Don't worry about low efficiency during mash, we will make it up in secondary, and then some.
