Notes

Preheat my mash tun with 1.5 gallons of 190 degree water for 30 min. Heated 5 gallon of strike water to 175 degrees. Dumped tun warm up water and add strike water. Add grains. Temperature only dropped to about 165 so added 1 gallon of cold water.
Only dropped to 159 so added some ice. Took almost 15 min to get water to 154 degrees.
Estimate cooler only drops 10 degrees.
