Ryan Clark • 01/03/2013 at 06:29pm I used anise extract because our supermarket didnt have any fresh stuff. I would use MINIMAL amounts of it if you end up with it. I used half a teaspoon. I think that was too much, if you use anise extract I would use quarter teaspoon or less for 5 gallons.
