So I am sampling a few bottles from this batch almost a year from when I brewed it. The taste is really interesting: Creamy chocolate with a hint of licorice and some berry. The head is dense but short, lasting only about 5 minutes due to the high ABV. The oats give it a sweetness and a nice feel. If I were to change anything I would use less oats and no malto dextrin. I would also go higher with the IBU to maybe 70 IBU. Otherwise, it is a really intense imperial stout that finishes smooth.
