Post Brew Note: The IBU is deceptive. I would classify this as a mid-IPA. Based on other commercial IPA's I have tried, IBU is probably closer to 20-ish. Admittedly, I am not a heavy IPA consumer. I find this beer delicious. I would recommend this to anybody who wishes a gateway into IPA's. It has a bitter start with a smoke or tobacco finish, which might be due to the crystal malts.
