I attempted this recipe but it does not taste as "sweet" as I would have expected. Not sure if I did something wrong though. I mashed at the appropriate temp but did not time the sparge. Also, my fermentation stalled at 1.030 after 5 days and never dropped any further despite multiple efforts to get it going again. I did a 1L starter and used Safale S-04 dry yeast. The yeast listed in the recipe is no longer available. If you are looking for a liquid option WLP 011 would be the one.

I bottled yesterday, we'll see how it tastes in 10 days. It tasted fine when bottling, but definitely not sweet.
