Notes

This is my attempt at an easy brew to sort-of replicate the flavor and nose of a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. It works well enough for me. Everyone who tried it loved the result. It's a nice even, clean beer with a great nose thanks to Cascade. It's a great session beer at just under 5%. Steep a bit of cara red to give it a little more amber color. This is a concentrate, 2.5 gallon brew then blended with 3 gallons of cold water in fermenter after chilling. Lost 1 quart of water to steam and about 1 quart in trub. I bottled exactly 5 gallons.
