Notes

My wife and her best friend LOVE this beer. I do too! I developed this recipe after sipping on a couple of the commercial examples. They have the type of malts, hops, IBU's and ABV on their website so it was pretty easy to put together. I kicked the alcohol up a little bit to bring it over 5%. Should turn out good.

Question for you - when you say 2lb of vanilla beans, do you actually mean 2 vanilla bean pods and not 2lb?

I am really curious about why you're putting sodium metabisulfite in the boil. Did you mean sodium chloride by chance?
