Notes

This is the recipe for the beer that I will be brewing for the rehearsal dinner of my wedding. I am looking forward to a simple, classic beer that everyone at the party will be able to enjoy. I hope that it has a good balance of sweet malt flavor and moderate bitterness. The northern brewer hops will be used for bittering. The East Kent Goldings will be used as the aroma hops, gracefully paying homage to their grand reputation and to impart a flavor quintessentially British.

Mashed with 4 gallons;
Batch sparged with 5 gallons;
Split the batch between two pots and boiled on the range top.
