Temp: 68 °F
CO2 Level: 2.5 Volumes |
Target Water Profile
Light colored and malty
Notes
Using Hallertau mittelfruh, but recipe called for saphir dry hop
0.25 oz HM to dry hop
38 C tap water to start
OG: 1.065
FG: 1.030
ABV: 4.59%
Pitched at 78°F on 2/17/24
Kept bubbling, yeast kept working for 2 weeks!
Gravity stayed HIGH
Pitched too warm?
Finally moved to secondary on 3/4/24
Began dry hop with 0.25 oz Hallertau mittelfruh on 3/4/24
Sanitized muslin hop bag and dropped to bottom of secondary. (Should have weighted with pie weights.)
Filled secondary on top of dry hop bag
Bottled on 3/10/24, 4 carb tabs/bottle
Nice carbonation
Gravity staying high kept nice mouthfeel -- happy accident?
