Notes

When Brew day is complete, take starting gravity reading and then pitch 2 packages of safale US-05.

After fermentation is complete. Add 8 ounces of whiskey with 3 ounces of oak chips and 2 vanilla beans. To prepare the vanilla, cut the bean length wise, scrape out everything and add to jar with oak chips, then cut the bean into small pieces and add those to the jar as well.

Let mix for 1-2 days then add to primary fermenter.

Primary for 3-4 weeks
Secondary on oak and vanilla beans for 2-3 weeks
Transfer off oak/vanilla and Bulk age 1to 2 months in purged carboy.
