- Brewed on 6/4/23
- Mash water = 5.65 gallons (21.4 liters)
- Sparge water = 2.70 gallons (10.2 liters)
- Expecting pre-boil volume of 6.6 gallons (25 liters) or 6.86 gallons (25.9 liters) after 4% wort expansion, actually had right about 27 liters. About 1 liter high. Need to check later.
- Expecting mash efficiency of 80% (at expanded wort volume) which implies a pre boil gravity of 1.0XX
- Mash temp settled right it at ~149F
- Hit 1.058 pre boil gravity vs. 1.058 target so XX.XX% mash efficiency vs. XX.XX% expected.
- Expecting to boil down to 6.0 gallons (after wort cools) so boil-off tool estimates 1.0XX OG, Actual original gravity reading was XX.X plato which converts to 1.0XX vs 1.0XX expected.
- After boil had ~6.XX gallons (expected 6.0 not expanded so this is right on) in the kettle and ~5.5 gallons made it into the fermenter.
- Pitched yeast packet and put in ferm chamber at 60F.
- Packaged on 6/19/23, batch #73, FG was 1.013 (at F) which converts to 1.013 so 77% attenuation vs 75% avg. and 77% expected
- Fill keg to 52.00 pounds = (1.013FG x 8.345 x 5 gallons) + 9.78 (empty keg weight).
