Brewed 20/03/2023, my first parti-gyle attempt. The first run beer came in under, and this wort also - maxed out at 1.015 post boil. I added some syrup to bring it up to 1.020, so may be bitterer than calculated. Filled the fermenter with the very hot wort and cooled it in the ferment cupboard and pitched 1 sachet of S04 24 hours later, afternoon of Tues 21/03
The boil smelled a bit odd and before I added the hops I may have detected some tannin?
