Notes

Squeeze this batch down inside you, and you’ll be a mighty warrior in no time!

Joint Novembeerfest Puget Sound Pro-Am (JNSPA) 2022 - 2nd Place Winner!

I designed this recipe to be all things red: Red X malt, red caramel malt, red wheat, lingonberries and hibiscus flowers. The color is reddish-brown, similar to blood. Malt-forward IPA with a light floral scent. Strong bitterness up front with a bright, strawberry-like sweetness underneath. If you’ve been looking for a solid IPA that’s just a little bit different, give this one a shot!

To make hibiscus tincture, steep 1 oz hibiscus flowers in 4 oz vodka for 5 days, then strain. Add tincture (adjust volume to taste) to finished beer just before bottling.
