Full-imersion Steps:
1.) Bring 7.25 gallons of water to 162 degrees F.
2.) Mash for 1 hour.
3.) Bring to a boil.
4.) Boil for 60 minutes total, following hop schedule.
- Once boil starts, add 1oz Cascade
- 30 mins into the boil, add 1oz Cascade
- 50 mins into the boil, add 1 tbsp Irish moss to ensure clarity in the final product
- With 5 mins left in the boil (55 mins in to the boil), add 0.5oz Centennial and 0.33oz Ekuanot (can replace Ekuanot with similar AA hops e.g. Galaxy, El Dorado, Chinook, etc.)
5.) Chill to ~70 degrees F and pitch yeast.
6.) Ferment in primary for at least 2 weeks, then keg.
7.) Carbonate for at least a week then enjoy!
