Notes

Brewed 6/4/22. Hoch Kurz double decoction mash. Infuse to 145F, rest 30, 1/4 decoct, heat to 158F hold 20 min, boil, add to get 158F, rest 30 min, 1/4 decoct, boil add to get170F, recirculate and lauter. SMaSH (Single malt and single hop). Got great mash efficiency again with decoction mash.
Actual FG 1.011

Tasted this 7/12/22. It is magnificent! Should be sublime after another month lagering.
7/17/22-Compared with bottle of my Czech Pils 21. I like this Helles better. Czech Pils Saaz hops more up front, Helles maltier and hops in better balance.

Brewed again 8/27/23 Used 1.5+1.5oz Hallertauer Select and 25 lbs (new brewing system is easier to operate but less efficient) of Weyermann Bohemian Pilsner Malt.

10/2/23-Kegged first 5 gal of this 2023 version. It is sooo goood. Hops come through more than last year's.
