Notes

Rootin Tootin Strathfrutyn Ale

I don't have any oats or wheat right now, but still forging ahead with making a NEIPA. There is a good chance I'll get haze from all the hops and the yeast but I'll see.

Q: Why are there so many similar malts? A: Because I had to use up all the random leftover grain I had. All the pale ale malt could most likely just be replaced with one. I'll see how it goes though. The bag of trident didn't have enough hops in it either which is why it got partially subbed out in the whirlpool and completely subbed out with Huell Melon in the dry hop

Not five star because the flavour is very heavily citrus and not at all tropical. I'm not sure why those choice of hops ended up with a citrus/grapefruit bomb but they did. Tastes like I'm drinking orange juice.

It is very interesting to see that a NEIPA with only grain in the grist can come out with a very stable haze.
