Ten Gallon brew (U.K) on G30. Planned all to bottle.
Hop stand from 90 to 80 C then chill to ferment temp.
one sachet of m36 in 2L Dme starter. 1.035
Mash P.H. = 5.2-- 5.4. finished beer 4.2.
Grain crush 0.32"
All water treated with 18ml AMS per 25 ltr
Grist, 12g DWB salts.
66 ltrs used, 20 ltrs in mash tun, 46 ltrs for sparge.
55 went into kettle. (Split, as G30 only holds 30 Ltrs) 48.5 went into fermenter.
Final tails were 1.028.
11 ltrs lost to mash and kettle evaporation.
48.5 ltrs into fermenter S.G. 1.052
1st s.g. reading weds 23.6.21= 1.013 = 5.12%.
start cold crash to 2.6 C. friday 25th june 18.48
Dry hopped with cascade and chinook for 3 days, post fermentation, removed bag tuesday evening and added finings. continue cold crash and bottle saturday 3rd july.
84 bottles collected. 400g priming sugar and 8 teaspoons heading agent added to 10 Gal in bottling vessel. may use 600g of hops next brew.
