I really like this one. I read the recipe description in Mike Karnowskis book where he described it as "perfect IPA, for me, and for now" so I thought I'd give it a roll. I find this to be a well balanced and not overtly hoppy brew. I tried an un-carbonated sample and the biscuity flavor of the melanoidin malt was pretty evident, but after carb, the hops picked up a shininess that pushed the maltiness more into he background. His hop choices were dead on and I will keep this one in constant rotation, maybe with some experimentation with some new hops (Canadian Sasquatch, Triumph and Contessa) I recently sourced. Give it a go, super clean and crisp!
