Notes
Drinking this now (3/30/14). Although there is a definite malt presence and pronounced hop bitterness in the beer, it is not balanced. My hope is that it will mellow with a little time. But that's been my hope with a brown ale that seems to be a little too sweet and it has not improved with a considerable amount of time. This was my last brew before receiving a Ward Labs report. I made significant alterations to my brewing water - primarily by blending it with 60% RO water - and am very interested to see how it affects the next beer. It is my Mystic Mama clone attempt split into two different fermenters with two different yeasts.
4/14/14 - dumped this beer due to infection. Also dumped the brown ale just because I was tired of trying to enjoy it.
