Notes
Modified from Flora Brewing Pink Boots Pale ale
I use a Brewers Edge Mash & Boil all in one system
Use BIAB for grain that I place inside the build in BIAB tank for ease
3.5 gallons strike water at 160 to get mash temp of 152
Mash & Boil holds mash at temp automatically
Mash for 60 mins
I do a continuous sparge with pump, and then do a poor mans fly sparge of 2 gallons 170F water while the mash and boil starts to heat the wort to 170F,
add hops at designated times
I throw in half a whircloc tab last 15 mins as well - optional
Add Hibiscus last 5 mins of boil and then take out.
No chill overnight in sealed airlocked kettle.
Next day rack into fermenter. Ferment 2 weeks.
Take gravity reading.
Cold Crash fermenter
Keg and carb.
