Notes
Based upon "Lasers in the Jungle" by Hop River Brewing Company.
Fermentation:
Plastic bucket, aim for ~14 days before bottling.
No racking/secondary fermentation
Dry hopping:
Aim for 3 days into active fermentation, when airlock bubbling is still frequent (every 4-6 seconds) but not as vigorous as high krausen. Soak 2 muslin bags and some marbles in Star-san solution, and sanitize hop packets and scissors. Split 3oz total hops into two bags with enough marbles to prevent floating. Tie-off bags as near to the opening as possible to allow adequate expansion. Quickly crack open fermenter, gently set hops into beer, and reseal. Leave hops in beer until bottling.
Bottling:
Prepare priming sugar solution by boiling dextrose in water for 10 minutes, then cooling. Once cooled to room temperature, rehydrate Lalvin CBC-1 bottling yeast in priming solution as directed. Pitch priming solution into bottling bucket, rack beer onto priming solution, and bottle.
