Notes
Boil kettle gave up the ghost sometime after 15mins to the end...RIP Klarstein.
20 litres OG 1.050 adjusted for temp using calculator on here.
Smooth brew day apart from losing my main brewing apparatus...
Day 10. Sample 1.010. Pretty good going.
4-5 weeks of bottle conditioning and this tastes identical to Hobgoblin Ruby ale (which is a brown ale, basically). Very impressed with it. Ok it's not really an ESB, but who cares when it tastes this good.
Renamed and reclassified to Brown ale because that is exactly what this is. Almost perfect clone of Hobgoblin.
