Vanilla beans are Split and scraped added to the secondary for up to 5 days.
ferment for 2 weeks
rack for up to 3 weeks i like a 5 day steep of vanilla beans longer steep tends to greatly increase vanilla presence with no easily discernible ratio but realize with maturation the vanilla will mellow.
