Notes

Brew Date -1/22/21

Finally, I hit the numbers and the results didn't disappoint.

I added 8oz of DME because I had it, I normally wouldn't add extract to my all-grain brew. It was accounted for in the actual results below. I will delete it from the recipe.

UPDATE - 2/7/21 - Racked into glass. SG @ 1.008, already at 86% attenuation. Will lager 4-6 weeks @ 33-34 degrees.

UPDATE - 4/10/21 - SG remained at 1.008. Racked into keg with no sugar and kept cold. I figure if I'm not adding sugar I don't need to bring up the temp.
Will return to tried and true method of forced carbonation. Burp, increase Psi to 30lb, shake and roll around on the ground for a few minutes. Let sit for 72 hours. Decrease psi to under 10lbs and release excess Co2. Pour.

ACTUAL RESULTS:

Total water: 9 gals - perfect for this one
Pre-boil volume: 7.5 - 7.75 gals
Ending kettle volume: 6.25 - 6.5 gallons
Fermenter volume: 6.1 gals
Boil time: 90 min
Efficiency: 83% !!!
OG: 1.060
FG: 1.008
ABV: 6.8%
Attenuation: 86%
IBU's: 16
SRM: 3.4
