Notes
For this recipe I'm going for a light-colored ale. I didn't want to brew an IPA-style hop bomb. I also didn't want to brew another lager, but I did want to brew something more "shareable" than a porter, stout, etc. So, I came up with this recipe for what would be a balanced, gold-colored ale with a lot of malt in it.
I've had problems with head retention, so I threw in 3 oz of wheat malt to try to help with that.
I'm trying the Munton's Gold yeast for the first time. I want to like it because it's so damn cheap. This seems like a good recipe to test it out on.
