I got cut off by my 3 year old...the amarillo did an excellent job adding that juicy, citrus flavor and aroma. I plan to play with the malt bill (which has already changed a few times) and add some citrus and mosaic to pair with amarillo. I likely won’t go all the way to 14 oz like some other NEIPA recipes, but I’ll probably keep it between 8-10 oz of total hops. For a budget NEIPA, I thought this was pretty outstanding and I intend to have it on tap year round.
